1985 FERRARI MONDIAL for sale in Sparks, Nevada

$18,500

1985 Ferrari Mondial; 4 valve 3L V-8; V.I.N. "0000" which means it was designated for Northern European Left Hand Drive application. This is the European model, which is slightly different than the US spec versions, one thing being the absence of the exhaust diffuser and a few more ponies than the US Spec. version. This car has been professionally maintained and I have all records from '08 to present. Car has 58k kilometers on the clock and shows it's breed well. The original wheels have been updated to 17" 348 wheels, so no more buying "Metric" TRX's. The body has been updated and cleaned of extemporaneous "architecture". Heads have been worked, cams have been dialed and custom legal exhaust w/cats, was built in March of this year, and sounds great! Approx. 1000 miles on FULL SERVICE including new cam belts. Car is in Very Good condition and in an improved state of tune. Runs out great and does all the things a Ferrari should do, and does them well. No issues, just want to update to a more mainstream mode. It's a blast to drive and still turns heads every time it rolls...
For those of you who are Ferrari "purists", you may look at the Mondial as the family "step-child", but make no mistake; this car is Ferrari through and through! It's even more Ferrari than Magnum's 308, which was built by...Fiat! The Mondial has a longer wheelbase than the 308 and was actually more preferred than the 308 in racing applications, and this car even has a back seat! Well, maybe, if you are transporting Ewoks or Hobbits; otherwise it's a great shelf for a picnic basket and a couple of jackets. And if you work it right, you can even get a couple of folding chairs in the trunk, which also sports the original factory toolkit and full-sized spare. This car was also painted, within the past year, a magnificent Rosso-Corsa that pops from every angle to augment the vintage lineage, style and grace, this car exudes.
This is not a trophy that has been sitting in someone's garage, decaying; this car is a daily driver with the heart of a lion and the grace of a prancing horse! If you have ever dreamed of owning a Ferrari, but afford-ability was not in the cards, at the price I'm asking for what the car is - THIS could be a great opportunity. Compare my price to any Mondial on-line, I highly doubt you will find a Euro QV Coupe done like this one and in the same or even close condition for $18,500 OBO! I realize that the economy is depressed, but for those who still want a shot at experiencing the Ferrari transformation, call me ...
